David is well regarded in the SAS community. With a deep knowledge of SAS software, he enables clients to get the most out of their resource. He is an avid champion of the SAS suite of software, but is comfortable using a range of industry solutions and believes on using the best tool for the job.

David balances pragmatism and innovation to deliver practical solutions, with an emphasis on incorporating best-practice methodologies for ease of development and maintenance. He often says that he "hates the idea of people having to do anything that a computer can do better and faster" - he is passionate that repetitive tasks should be automated, freeing up staff time for improvement of processes.

An effective communicator, David is adept at transferring knowledge to interested parties ensuring project success.

Prior to joining Offlode, David received a first class honours degree in Operations Research from Massey University, where he also conducted lectures. He is currently in the final stages of a PhD in Decision Science. He is also a SAS certified trainer.
