Graeme Gee is the Founding Director of Offlode.
Presently based in New Zealand Graeme is responsible
for all operations and new business development.
Graeme is an entrepreneurial
business person who has operated in the corporate
business arena for the last 20 years. Always open
to an opportunity Graeme noted when working for
SAS New Zealand, the supplier of analytical software,
that a number of their customers weren't using
their products to full capacity.
In looking at this in more depth there appeared
a real need to work with customers to assist them
to get more out of their software and to help
them better understand their businesses. SAS's
focus was on supplying the software and working
with 'Partners' to supply services. Graeme has
recruited the best resources to suit the need.
Business nous (commercial savvy, common sense)
was the first attribute that he determined was
required.
The philosophy of 'leaving the customer with the
ability to replicate the work done' is innovative
in it's thinking and has enabled the company to
grow over the past 3 years. The philosophy encompasses
Graemes' belief that - 'It is important to leave
the customer with the knowledge and ability to
carry on the process. If not they are totally
reliant on you, which is not a good business practice.
The more the customer sees what he can do, and
can be done, the more he wants - and that is good
for us too. So it is a win-win situation where
the customer is constantly upskilling and driving
intelligence from their data".
